„Come and join our night of pleasure!”, flüstert es verheißungsvoll aus den Türen des PATHOS. „Heute Nacht seid ihr eingeladen auf einen Trip für alle Sinne. In eine Welt jenseits der überkommenen Vorstellung, dass Vergnügen, Lust, Begehren und Genuss nur ohne Schmerzen, Erschöpfung, Unbehagen und Einschränkungen möglich sind.“ Also, nichts wie rein. In ihrer Late Night Variety Show bringen Criptonite und ihre Mitstreiter*innen die Themen Behinderung und Begehren zusammen. Im Möglichkeitsraum der Unterwelt, wo Bacchus, Medusa, Vampire und weitere sexy verlorene Seelen die Schnittstelle von Schmerz, Genuss und Kink zelebrieren, erlebt das Publikum, wie Verlangen und Behinderung, Verführung, cat content, Abhängigkeit und pure Lust ineinander spielen.

„Come and join our night of pleasure!” A voice whispers auspiciously through the crack open doors of PATHOS. „Tonight we invite you to a journey for all the senses. Into a world liberated from the obsolete assumption that joy, lust, temptation and indulgence can only exist without pain, exhaustion, discomfort and limitations.“ Come on in! Disability meets desire in Late Night Variety show, staged by Criptonite and their allies. The underworld, where Bacchus, Medusa, vampires and other lost but sexy souls celebrate the intersection of pain, pleasure and kink, becomes a space of possibility enabling the audience to experience the interplay of desire and disability, seduction, cat content, dependency and pure lust.

Kurzbiografien
Nina Mühlemann (she/her) gründete 2020 mit Edwin Ramirez das Projekt Criptonite, eine crip-queere Veranstaltungsreihe. Sie studierte Englische Literatur und verfasste am King’s College London eine Doktorarbeit auf den Gebieten Performance und Disability Studies. Vom Sommer 2018 bis Ende 2019 leitete sie zusammen mit dem Künstler Jeremy Wade die Future Clinic for Critical Care, ein soziokulturelles Kunstprojekt mit Veranstaltungen in der Gessnerallee Zürich und dem Impulsfestival Wien, in dem es um Fürsorge und Care-Arbeit ging. Sie co-organisierte zudem das IntegrART Symposium 2019, ein Netzwerkprojekt des Migros-Kulturprozent, das Künstler*innen mit Behinderung unterstützt. Außerdem leitet sie das IntegrART Reflexionsformat 2021.
Edwin Ramirez (they/them, keine Pronomen) ist Performance Künstler*in und Stand-Up Comedian aus Zürich. Seit 2015 tritt Ramirez auf allen großen Comedybühnen der Deutschschweiz und im Schweizer Fernsehen auf. Zusammen mit Nina Mühlemann leitet Ramirez seit Beginn 2020 das Projekt Criptonite, eine crip-queere Veranstaltungsreihe. Vom Sommer 2018 bis Ende 2019 war Ramirez Teil der Future Clinic for Critical Care. Im Oktober 2020 war Ramirez Teil des Stücks Star Magnolia am Theater Neumarkt.

Nina Mühlemann (she/her) founded project Criptonite, a crip-queer event series, in 2020 with Edwin Ramirez. She majored in English Literature and earned her PhD at King’s College London in Performance and Disability Studies. From summer 2018 until the end of 2019, her and artist Jeremy Wade ran the Future clinic for Critical care, a socially and culturally motivated project with events at Gessnerallee Zürich and Impulsfestival Wien, highlighting the issue of care and care work. In addition, she co-curated the IntegrART Symposium 2019, a networking project by Migros-Kulturprozent supporting artists with disabilities. She also ran the IntegrART reflexion forum in 2021.
Edwin Ramirez (they/them) is a performance artist and stand-up comedian from Zurich. Since 2015 they have been performing on all big comedy stages of Switzerland as well as on swiss TV. With Nina Mühlemann, they have operated Criptonite since 2020. From summer 2018 until the end of 2019, they were a part of the Future clinic for Critical care, a socially and culturally motivated project with events at Gessnerallee Zürich and Impulsfestival Wien, highlighting the issue of care and care work. October 2020, they were a part of the play Star Magnolia at Theater Neumarkt.
